About the Artist

My story began with the wonder of exploration. As a boy, I was captivated by NASA’s Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo missions — and by the Hasselblad photographs that carried the Moon’s stark beauty back to Earth. Those images revealed how profoundly a single frame can shape perception and emotion.

I am Olis, a Master Photographer. Over the decades, that early spark has evolved into a lifelong pursuit: creating images that honor the elegance of light, the rhythm of nature, and the quiet narratives that connect us all.

In recent years, my creative journey has come full circle — rooted in community and connection. I’m grateful to express my craft close to home as a board member and photographer with Lanakila Gardens, supporting its mission through imagery and design; with the Mandarin Community Club, documenting local stories that reflect our shared spirit; and with the Mandarin Museum & Historical Society, preserving history through archival photography and video.

Each collaboration is an opportunity to give back — to use the art of image-making to celebrate the beauty of our surroundings and the people who shape them.

Through it all, my purpose remains simple: to express the world as I see it — through images crafted with care and vision, created to be experienced not only on a screen but as gallery-worthy art.
