About the Artist

My story began with the wonder of exploration. As a boy, I was captivated by NASA’s Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo missions: and by the Hasselblad photographs that carried the Moon’s stark beauty back to Earth. Those images revealed how profoundly a single frame can shape perception and emotion.

I am Olis, a Master Photographer. Over the decades, that early spark has evolved into a lifelong pursuit: creating images that honor the elegance of light, the rhythm of nature, and the quiet narratives that connect us all.

In recent years, my creative journey has come full circle, rooted in community and connection. I’m grateful to share my craft close to home as a board member and photographer with Lanakila Gardens, supporting its mission through imagery and design. And with the Mandarin Community Club, documenting local stories that reflect our shared spirit. And with the Mandarin Museum & Historical Society, preserving history through archival photography and video.

Each collaboration is an opportunity to give back: to use the art of image-making to celebrate the beauty of our surroundings and the people who shape them.

Through it all, my purpose remains simple: to share the world as I see it. Each image is crafted with care and vision, created to be experienced not only on a screen but as gallery-worthy art.
